Ownership
All written content, photography, illustrations, and layout on The Sourdough Method are owned by us unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright.
What you may do
Link to any page freely. You may share a short excerpt (a sentence or two) alongside a clear credit and a direct link back to the original article. Printing recipes for your own kitchen or a baking class is fine.
What needs permission
Republishing full recipes or articles, reposting our photographs, using our content in books, courses, or paid products, and any commercial or AI-training use all require written permission first.
Recipe adaptations
Recipes themselves aren't copyrightable as ingredient lists, but our method text and photos are. If you adapt one of ours, rewrite the instructions in your own words and credit The Sourdough Method with a link.
Requesting permission
Send a note through the Contact page describing what you'd like to use, where it will appear, and for how long. We answer most requests within a week and say yes more often than not.
Reporting infringement
If you believe your work has been used here without permission, contact us with the details and a link to the original. We investigate and remove verified infringing material promptly.
